Elections are a critical priority that local government must get right to maintain the trust of the community.

As County Clerk/Auditor, I want Wasatch County residents to have confidence that elections are being run honestly, efficiently, and in accordance with state law.

What I Will Do as County Clerk

Update voter records to eliminate voters who no longer reside in the county.

Implement election requirements passed by the State Legislature in 2025 and 2026 and clearly communicate those changes with voters well in advance of the
implementation deadlines.

Work with the 8 municipalities in the county during municipal elections to ensure those elections run smoothly.

Increase transparency and efficiency in the County Clerk’s Office while serving the public.

About Michelle

My family and I have been residents of Wasatch County since 2005.
I have a BA in Public Policy from Brigham Young University.
I am a Master Municipal Clerk.
I have worked a combined 18 years for Heber City and Park City municipalities, specifically with elections, GRAMA*, managing council meetings, municipal code, and records retention.
I am a certified GRAMA officer and records officer with the State of Utah.
I oversee 500+ GRAMA requests per year and respond to records requests in a transparent manner.
I am proficient in accounting principles and practices.
